Dwayne Johnson has revealed his extensive daily diet in preparation for his role as the leading character in HERCULES. Johnson posted the above image on TWITTER along with the caption:
My current 22 week diet for the role of HERCULES. Cardio & iron before going to set. (Lion blood is optional;)
By having a number of meals through the day which are high in protein, Johnson’s metabolism goes into overdrive allowing his body to burn through calories at an extremely high rate. The protein allows the torn muscles to heal quicker, allowing him to tear them quicker to build more muscle.
On average, people following a similar diet and exercise routine look to gain a minimum of 1 pound of muscle per week.
